Money on the Web....

The internet can be a confusing place....there are so many sources of information, many with "opinion" instead of fact or common sense guidance.

When it comes to getting information about Money on the Web, it gets even more confusing, as you need to negotiate past "get rich quick" sites, ones that tell you that if you go to a seminar it'll make you wealthy, and web pages which deal in opinion and rhetoric as opposed to fact.

Here at common sense money, we believe there is no "get rich quick" option, we do not believe attending a seminar will make you wealthy, and we prefer to deal in fact. We believe in long term planning to achieve your goals, and provide information to help you plan for the "long game".

As well as our site, there is a range of useful resources on the web to help you plan your financial future. A couple of our favourites are below :-

Money Made Clear - the FSA's own consumer website. Contains a range of useful information, comparison tables and a range of free printable guides.

Build a better future - Government highlighting the options for individuals at different stages of life highlighting what they need to do to plan for retirement.

We will on a regular basis continue to add sites to look out for on this blog.....keep an eye out!!
